Welcome to the last day in the city we love so much! We started today much like yesterday, we hit Central Park first thing! Trying to make the most of the last day we have here!
Did some light exploring and some playing at one of the 17 parks ;) I don't totally remember but I also feel like we had to get Emmy a hot dog pretty early this day?
Walking through the city on the way to MoMa and had to stop and take a picture with this for our neighbor, Mrs. Shelly. If you are keeping track, we've now taken pics for 3 of the 4 Tuckers.
Mixed review on MoMa from the girls. Kate seemed to enjoy it more but Emily was dying to see Starry Night. Her favorite and also.. guess who? Our neighbor Mr. Scott! Haha it was almost like the Tuckers were there with us in spirit.
Daddy's favorite. And we use to read Olivia to Kate alllll the time. And every time we get to this part of the book she would say in her little baby voice... Jackson Pollack. The sweetest.
my loves!
When you match the artwork...
And finally.. there it is in all it's glory. We had to wait to get close to it. But Emmy was dead set on getting her picture.
ha. ha.
One of my favs!! :)
And then on to our last stop. My very favorite from our last trip! figured we would hit lunch omakase! With the girls who swore they wouldn't eat anything. They got bottled water.. we got sake!
I just love this experience. There is nothing like sitting here and watching them make this amazingly fresh sushi right in front of you. The boards show what you are getting-- you have the option of lunch omakase, basic or premium.
Hey look there-- Emmy fell asleep again!
I'm sure the chefs were insulted. One kid asleep and one watching videos on a cell phone. Whoops.
I can taste it. So good.
The hand roll. So weird but equally so wonderful.
HAPPINESS!
And just like that it's over. In the cab on the way to the airport. Luckily we had like a 5pm flight so we got to enjoy a lot of the day in the city!
Headed home with kids and dolls in tow.
Always the hand hold for me.
We ended up sitting on the plane for so long due to weather. Like three house. The girls were so good. And Emily passed out.. yet again. It was so a wonderful trip and I'm so glad we went. I always see those things that are like when in doubt, take the trip and 100000x yes. Like I already said, I'm so glad we opened their eyes to this. And now it's all they want to do. They were such great little travel buddies and I'm looking forward to the next memories we'll make with our little girls. XOXO
