Continuing the summer fun-- a weekend at the lake with the Lar Family! I really loved our two weekends last summer with these guys. We always have such a fun time and the kids do too. Love playing marbles with them and then over NYE, we taught them Mahjong. Friends who play together, stay together.
I can't believe we've never had them down to the lake. This is kind of embarrassing actually. And funny cause Scott called us out on it. So there was no option of not getting together at the lake.
We got there a few hours before the Lars to make sure we have everything together. Love spending time outside talking with this guy.
The next morning we were up and at em! Stopped and got this massive tube blown up. I really have no idea where you are suppose to store this AND a lily pad!
The kids loved tubing! I was afraid that Kate wouldn't do it since she refused last summer. But they stayed on this thing forever!! The screams and giggles were so fun to listen to. I especially loved it when they would yawn and say we were going too slow.
The lily pad is always a hit! On and off and cartwheel here and cartwheel there and chicken fight and all the fun.
I love this house cause it feels like it's in the country. I guess it kind of is. And all you see is green grass and places to run. I snapped this picture of the kids playing soccer to remember that moment and just watching them be sweet, fun little kids. XOXO
