Hello, I'm Alex (Hale) Johnston. I love cooking, trying to bake, painting, designing fabulous rooms in my head, trying to design fabulous rooms in real life, red wine, talking way too much, spending time with my husband and baby girls, friends, family, a great gin and tonic, and I love a good chance to party plan. 

Since I started this blog, I've had two precious, lovable little girls who have changed the blog a lot! I've enjoyed being able to use this blog as a way to keep up with the milestones in their lives and share with our family and friends. The girls have also provided some fun opportunities to try some new projects out! All this to say, you'll still find lots of recipes, DIY's and pinterest projects but you'll also find a ridiculous amount of adorable photos of our girls.
