Another wedding!! These girls are living their best summer lives. This time we got to travel to Mount Magazine and stay at the lodge. It was so fun! And we enjoyed being there for Haley's big day.
Brian grew up with Haley and went to every single level of school with her, including law school. I met Haley in college and we pledged together in our sorority. Then we lived right around the corner from each other in Little Rock. It's been so fun to watch her girls grow and for Kate and Elise to be little friends.
We had to do pedicures before we left! Kate's request. Emmy refused, she just wanted to dry everyone's nails.
It's tough holding a fan all morning.
We went straight to the pool when we got to the lodge. The girls were in heaven.. and then their friends Lucy and Nora walked in. The dad's went to the bar and I was on kid-watching duty. They wanted so bad to get in this hot tub so they finally just walked over and hopped in with all these older people. It was so hilarious. They started chatting and I'm sure entertained the men :)
Then it was go time! Right when we walked up, it looked like the sky was going to drop. They said we were going to start early so we rushed to our seats and the bride came out. They finished the ceremony just in time for it to start pouring!
We ate and then Emmy passed out, in the bright lights and loud music. She really is her mamas baby.
We didn't see Kate all night. Between the dance floor and the photo booth, she was living it up!
Wait.. there's our girl. We woke Emmy up to go to to the room. Poor thing.
The next morning, on the way out, we stopped at the highest point.
The kids insisted in taking our pictures. Even though we didn't get dressed and just hopped in the car, we obliged.
