Catch it Down in New Orleans

Probably not the best blog title in the days of COVID. But I'm really referring to the song from Princess and the Frog, "Down in New Orleans." Which we have listened to nonstop for about three months now. And it's gotten Kate VERY excited for our trip to New Orleans last weekend to attend our cousin Molly's wedding!

Spaghetti Carbonara: Version 2

If you haven't been watching Stanley Tucci's new show, "Searching for Italy" on CNN... you should be! I don't love it because I have all this Italian blood running through my veins or my obsession for pasta-- I actually have always loved the Tuch (Stanley as we've been calling him in our house) and food! It's a good show and you should seriously watch!

Valentine's Day 2021

I always love making treats for the kiddos to take their friends and Valentine's Day is no different. I actually planned out two super cute ideas for each girl. Emily's is pictured above. Kate's was to include a cute slinky and catchy saying but the slinkys came in 3 days ahead of V-day and they were like MINI miniatures.

Recipe: Eggs Pizzaiola

I've blogged about one of our favorite brunch meals on here before-- Spicy Tomato Skillet Eggs. We love this meal!! But I've seen that Skinnytaste has a recipe similar and I've been wanting to try it. So when we planned to have this a couple weekends ago, I made the decision to switch up the recipe and try Eggs Pizzaiola instead.

Alex's Chicken Salad Recipe

It snowed... A LOT!

We've had winter and can officially move on from the cold! I 100000% know now that I don't care much for snow as an adult. Not when you have to deal with having enough food, milk, and keeping your pipes unfrozen. Plus, keeping young kids inside all day isn't the most fun thing.
