One of our favorites! Except when we swing into the Haywood Hotel in El Dorado. Don't order this. Just stick to the menu :)
1.5 ounces pierre ferrand ambre cognac (or other)
1 ounce pierre ferrand dry curacao
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon simple syrup
garnish: 1 orange twist
Shake all the ingredients with ice, then strain into a chilled coup. Express the orange twist over the drink, then gently rub it around the rim of the glass and place it into the drink! Enjoy!
