We almost didn't make it to El Dorado for Christmas this year. Emmy woke up sick the day were were suppose to leave.. or maybe the day before. I don't remember anymore. We decided we weren't going to make it and were so sad. So last minute we woke up Sunday morning and decided to hit the road for a day trip. I'm so glad we did! We packed so much in one day and the girls loved every single minute. Allll the Christmas things are really the best.
All she wanted was a dentist barbie. No clue why! But one of her favorite things to date.
Her favorite! She's been asking for a replacement since last spring. Nothing better than magnetic people for this girl.

Next stop was downtown to ride the train! And this year the girls were so crazy about the spots at the top!
Of course her sweetie had to get in on the fun... and pet the horse. I love Emmy's imagination.
Next up was a ride through town on the horse and carriage. A massive hit and I'm sure will be the talk of every Christmas from here on out.
We had the very best time with family in El Dorado. Love these fun memories the girls are making with cousins. And bonus for me, I got to swing by and see the Halls on their way back to Nashville. And some more snuggles with Lucy! XOXO
