Who knew I would be back with VOLUME 3 of rum cocktail recipes. But here I am-- rum summer and back with more! The one pictured above is my vary favorite drink when it comes to rum. It's pretty, tasty and I really love the glass.
el Presidente
Add all to a shaker with ice, strain and serve.
Planters Punch
1oz fresh lime juice
3/4oz domerara syrup
1/4oz st. elizabeth allspice dram
3oz blended aged rum (Jamaicia)
2 dashes angostura bitters
Combine all ingredients in a drink mixer tin with 12 oz of crushed ice. Flash blend and then open pour with gated finish into a collins or highball glass. Garnish with Jamaican sunrise and mint sprig.
This is just another picture of a PAINKILLER because I love them so.
Three Dots and a Dash
1/2oz fresh lime juice
1/2oz fresh orange juice
1/2oz SC honey syrup
1/4oz John D Taylor's Velvet Falernum
1/4oz st. Elizbeth allspice dram
1 1/2oz cane AOC Martinique rhum agricole vieux
1/2oz blended aged rum
1 dash angostura bitters
Add all ingredients to a drink mixer tin. Fill with 12 oz of crushed ice. Flash blend and open pour with gated finish into a glass. Add garnishes of three cherries and a pineapple chunk.
NOTE: garnish represents Morse code. The three cherries are the "dots" and the "dash" was traditionally a rectangular chunk of pineapple.
Enjoy! XOXO
