And another....

Okay, so I lied... one more wedding post, for now :) I totally forgot about these adorable chalkboard signs I made for the reception. I really wanted to make legitimate signs but every time I tried I messed them up so bad! I couldn't find good chalk, so I tried markers.. I tried paint pens, everything! I finally designed them to look like chalkboards and printed them... I don't know that I tricked anyone... but I tried!

These were so fun! I'm not much of a graphic artist, but I like to try. XOXO

Garth Brooks!

Last month we went to the Garth Brooks concert here in Little Rock... it was amazing!!! Wendy, Daniel, Lindsey and Brian came to town to join us. We had a fabulous pre-Garth meal at my favorite, the Oyster Bar! I stole this picture of the crew from Lindsey.......

Reception time!

This was one of my favorite moments of the whole day-- After the trolley didn't show... we got to the Granite Club way before everyone else. The doors were open, fall air filled the house, the classical pianist was playing something lovely, we had the whole house to ourselves. We were popping bacon wrapped crackers like it was our job! It was so perfect-- two moments from the whole day that are so clear to me-- the vows and this........

We borrowed these awesome sugar molds from Kathy Gean (the caterer). They are amazing! I actually started working on the floral design on this one, Lauren and Mom came in behind me and finished it all. So fun!.......

Christmas...
