I think handwritten cards are the best. My mom has always required that we write thank you notes for everything! I love stationary, I love cards and I really love designing our Christmas cards each year. So when BasicInvite.com contacted me about this post, I was a little beside myself. I immediately went to the Basic Invite website and started looking around. Do not let the name fool you, there is nothing basic on this site. I love so many of the holiday cards, I'm having the hardest time EVER picking ours this year. And then I started looking at stationary... I'm in trouble!
I think my VERY favorite thing about BasicInvite.com is that they have almost unlimited colors! How many times have I stumbled upon a card I love only to hate the coloring. Guess what? No problems here! Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows you almost unlimited color options with instant previews! Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the smallest detail. ALSO, you can get a custom sample to check out the look and feel before you ever complete your order. For someone like me, that makes my heart sing.
I played around with the colors... a lot. I took a screen grab to show you just how easy (and how many options there are!) You can see below the colors included in the card-- originally the text color was dark gray, I changed it to red. You can customize what the text says here too. I even selected a fun year in review for the back of this card... how neat! That's another thing-- you can personalize the back of the card and the inside of the envelopes. (Obviously my sample photos aren't stellar-- but I'm just playing here!)
I also started playing with this one. I love how simple yet festive it is! Look how many colors there are... the options are seriously, endless. I forgot to mention until now that so many of their cards have this fun, pretty foil option.
They have so many options of cards- Christmas eve party invitations, photo personalized Christmas cards, holiday photo cards 2018... I'm tempted to host a Christmas party just so I can order invites. Is it socially acceptable to send out invitations and then cancel a week in advance?? ;)
Christmas cards isn't all they do. They have the best selection of baby announcements, party invites for all occasions, showers, BASICally (see what I did there) anything you can think of! And if you miss Christmas-- New Years cards! Oh and personal stationary.. be still my heart.
