We had such a fun time last weekend during our "Girls day!" And the little girls called it. Kate loves her little friends Nora Grace and Annie and I love hanging with their mamas!
Brian was in Austin last week for a conference so Kate and I took Emmy to Wynne to stay for a couple days. Mainly because I needed someone to keep an eye on her so I could participate in the girls day! We got tickets to see Anastasia at the Robinson and Kate loved it! We started watching the movie a month or so ago to get her excited about it. She knows alllll the songs now and sings them constantly!
We started off Sunday by grabbing lunch at US Pizza. Holidays in the Heights was Sunday so we wanted to catch the parade. We missed Santa (he was at the beginning?!) but caught some fun golf carts and Anna and Elsa!
I love these sweet girls and their fancy gloves and jewels!
Kate did OK with the show. She loved it when it was over but had a few bouts of being super interested and "tired." But overall, she did great! It was about 2.5 hours and for a four year old.. that's a lot!
When it was over, we went straight to the airport to pick up daddy! We got there just in time to run to the viewing deck and watch Brian's plane come in. Kate thought it was super neat. While we waited for him, Kate greeted all the people coming off the plane. "Are they coming home from a work trip? Where is our daddy?! He is never going to come!!!"
Sweetest moment! Icing on the top of a perfectly sweet weekend.
