Dinner at Heirloom + Fall Fun

02 November 2021

We had a fantastic, wonderful weekend in NWA with the Lar family a few weeks ago. We were actually suppose to go and have dinner at Heirloom the weekend the world shut down for COVID. They canceled the morning of, which we expected. It was so worth the wait!

We went up early on Saturday morning to spend the morning at a Pumpkin Patch with Scott, Holly and Ethan. The kids had a blast. I really do love fall!!

Kate looks so tall and so grown up in this picture.

She wanted to ride the "horse" until she got right up to it. So she insisted that Brian ride. It was hilarious to watch these dads get in here. It's amazing what we'll do for kiddos.

Emily was not here for the horse but was sweet to wave bye to her daddy and Kate-Kate.

We went home and played some before the babysitter came. I was slightly terrified but hoped it would all work out OK. Good news-- the girls were fantastic. The adults went to grab a cocktail before dinner then went to our reservation.

We had fantastic food, fabulous wine and a really cool experience. It was nice enjoying an adult meal with friends, without have to refill a milk cup every little but :)

This was some typed of charred squash and zucchini. Brian said it was his favorite bite. It was really stinkin good-- the sauce was delicious.

They only seat around 15 people for the night, this was our little corner of the world.  Below is my view to the kitchen. It was so neat.

My favorite bite! This was a scallop with brussels and potatoes. OMG so good. It was a take on ravioli and was a 10+. All of the food was great but the experience and company was the winner of the night. We love weekends with the Lar family and wish they happened more often! XOXO
