My biggest little girl turned THREE last week! While the time has seemed so slow at times, it's also felt like she just joined our family yesterday. She's the sweetest little girl and she keeps us laughing all the time!
COVID has made things so weird this year. I've been sad that we weren't having her a large birthday party but luckily she's young and doesn't really understand it all. We planned on celebrating as a family on her birthday and inviting her grandparents to town to celebrate over the weekend.
We started the morning with "donuts," which were really funfetti cupcakes made in our new donut pan. She was so excited to see them and blow out her candles!

Kate has been very into Rapunzel AKA Tangled lately. We got her this little dress a few weeks ago and she's worn it since. Her special "princess birthday dress" didn't come in on time so she picked this one (and flowers in her hair) for her special day!

I took cupcakes to Kate's school for their afternoon snack. I figured it you have to go to school on your birthday, you might as well celebrate!! Her teachers were so sweet and had a little party for her with friends. She was so excited to tell us about getting to eat cupcakes and her friends sang her happy birthday!
Her super talented teacher did this braid! It was impressive and a true Tangled braid!!
We had the best day celebrating our sweet girl! She loved opening and playing with all her presents. Each year gets so much more fun as she gets excited for her birthday. We closed out the day by exploring her new Disney+ subscription! Which she LOVES!!
Kate-girl. We love you so much! You are so sweet and an adorable little daughter. We love watching you grow and learn. You are so curious and you're a little sponge. You soak everything in and never forget a word we say. (BTW- I need to order that Frozen umbrella that you haven't let me forget about!!) You are funny, smart, love your sister, you are kind, funny, imaginative, affectionate, and you love us all so very much!! We LOVE being your parents are so blessed to call your ours. XOXO
