This was fantastic! And kind of a happy surprise that I know I will end up making again. A couple weeks ago I grabbed some extra ground turkey to make lunches for us to take to work. I planned to go Mexican theme-ish. But then I didn't get around to it... typical kind of crazy week.
So I was going to move the turkey to the freezer and paused... Brian mentioned make it like thai basil. I'm sure I've mentioned how the thai basil I planted this spring is thriving! So I went that route, added some jasmine rice, saluted some squash and zucchini and it was great! Super delicious and probably healthy-ish lunch. I stole the girls lunch containers and called it a week!

2T soy sauce
minced garlic

Add some oil to the wok, wait until hot and then add the garlic and ginger. Stir for about 30 second to a minute. Add the ground turkey and when almost brown, add the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Turn off heat and add thai basil. Serve with rice and veggies.
Even when fresh vegetables and fruits are consumed as a large portion of the diet, our nation's food supply is contaminated by the use of pesticides, herbicides and hormones and much of the nutrient value is lost by transportation of the food crop from thousands of miles away. Real Food Enthusiast
