Since I'm playing blog catch-up, I wanted to post about our family beach trip in early June. The whole entire Penzo family went to the beach together, just like old times! Years ago we would all go every other year and stay at Navarre Beach. As everyone got older, schedules got busy and we just stopped.
It was so great to have the whole family there for a whole week. Brian got very well acquainted with the WHOLE entire Penzo clan and it was so fun! Here are some pics!

Project Closet, Volume II
03 January 2014
Hello!
Welcome 2014 and welcome to my first post of the year! I'm going to try my very hardest to start blogging more (i know, I KNOW- i've said that before!!)
I never make resolutions... because I never keep resolutions. But this year I'm going to try something-- I need to get rid of some clothes.. scratch that... i have to get rid of some clothes! I have a ridiculous amount of clothes that i NEVER wear. So many things that I haven't worn in years that I just "know" I'll wear soon. Or maybe if I lose a couple pounds? Or what if I gain a couple pounds, I'll def need my fat jeans. NO MORE!!!! Will this also be motivation to maintain a good size?! Possibly!
You might remember I did something similar, you can read about it ---> HERE. Below is my picture from the first challenge and a short recap...

I turned all the clothes around and the challenge is-- when you wear something, hang it back up facing the right (normal) direction so you know you've worn it. After a year or the season, etc... if it's still facing backwards-- GONE! In theory this was a great idea and I actually kept up with it. I would tell what had been worn and what hadn't... which was great for not repeating outfits.
Then one horrible night in May my apartment caught on fire, I was allowed in for five minutes to grab things-- talk about a DISASTER!!! No lights, no suitcase, no nothing and all my stupid clothes are facing different directions. I still remember my friend Shana's husband asking why the clothes weren't coming off the racks... BRILLIANT IDEA! Anyway, two months later I got most back and a dry cleaning bill for $9,000!
Point being-- I've already downsized... a lot! So let's go 2014-- I'm going to do this right. I've got til Spring to wear my winter clothes and if I don't, they will be available at the local Salvation Army store.
Are you making a resolution? Share with me your ideas! I think I'll also add that I vow to learn how to use my new curling iron-- so I won't be walking around looking like a mop head :)

Wedding time!
21 November 2013
Happy wedding to Daniel and Wendy!! I had a blast celebrating this couple last weekend in northeast Arkansas!
We started the weekend by having a bridal luncheon at Paulette's in Memphis and it was delish! Followed by Christmas shopping with Erin :) and a fabulous rehearsal & dinner. The girls spent the whole day Saturday getting ready together-- Erin and I have decided we could easily open up a hair salon. I curl, she pins :)
The wedding was gorgeous and there was so much love around the new couple! I'm sad all the festivities are over-- the last couple months have been so fun!

hey, hello!!
21 October 2013
SOOO, I've been MIA in the blog world for quite awhile now. LOTS has happened since July and I'll be sure to catch you up... that way I can get back to blogging like usual. Because I'm sure you are all (I say that like I have a following) dying to know what I've been working on :)
In July I got a promotion at work, (!!!) I'm now the Assistant Director! It's been so busy but so great and I really enjoy it. August I took my first vacation in over a month, September was pretty laid back and in October- Brian and I have done some statewide traveling. I'll give you a recap via pictures... :)

Wendy said YES to the dress!!
Hayden turned ONE!!!!
Hayden and her aunties :)
Rachel got married...
...and we celebrated in Nashville.
Seth & Heather got married.. and Brian caught the garter/football. YES, you are reading right, it says "You're next!"
In August we vacationed in Florida with the Johnston's...
...and played mini golf....
..and ate fabulous seafood.
In September the Hale's came to town
And Tontitown pumpkins were delivered to my door... ah, fall!!
This cute pup and his owner left for greener pastures...
And then I didn't take pictures for the whole month of October... but we had a lot of fun! Brian and I spent a weekend in El Dorado and went to Musicfest-- we listened to Justin Moore and ate good food! We spent the next weekend in Fayetteville in the pumpkin patch helping Grandma and Nonno out. We sat through the rain to watch Texas A&M kick our tails. But we had a good time with friends and family. We spent the rest of our weekends watching football with Erin, Jared and the dogs-- which is always a good time. Then this past weekend the Johnston's came to town...
And we took this picture at the family reunion.
So, now that you are caught up with my life.. I will be sure to start posting more often and I've got to show you my new craft projects that I've been working on :) YAY. Check back soon!

I'm in love with my latest project! Brian's good friends from law school just had their first child and Melissa hired me to create a canvas for the new nursery. I'm so glad she thought of me for this project and it was so fun making something for their precious little girl! Hope you love it!
