She is so excited for her expander and then braces.. I never knew a kid could be this excited! We found out at a dentist appt a few months back that Kate has a tooth coming in but not enough room for it. So they sent us to the orthodontist and then thing I know, Kate has an expander and we're turning that guy every single night.
When we went in to get it placed, the doctor gave her this mold of her teeth. And I remember doing this as a kid and they crammed all that disgusting stuff in your mouth to make the mold. This one was made by a camera and super techy tech. They gave it to her and said they could make it into a Christmas ornament. The doctor did and then gave it to us and said here, this is the most expensive Christmas ornament you probably own! She's right.
We go back in mid-April for top braces and Kate has already picked her color--light blue!
Kinda out of order here but how crazy is this! These are Kate's teeth and you can see the ones that haven't even come in yet. SO wild to me. XOXO
