This bunco theme was so fun! Allyson started this bunco group a few years ago and then decided to move on all of us! So we chose to throw a surprise bunco party for her before they moved to Hot Springs last summer. I made these cute little invites and sent them to the group + her family without her knowing. I'm actually terrible at keeping these things secret so I'm still shocked I didn't make any missteps.
I went all out with Allyson's favorite things! I text her mom and sister and found out her favorite foods and everyone grabbed a dish. I actually told her we were getting together to hang out before they move- -just a couple friends.
One of Allyson's favorite things is cheese fondue. This is Emmy and making homemade bread to pair with it the day before :)
This is probably my favorite part. Erin was going to do balloons for bunco but we didn't have them set up in time. So I told Allyson that Erin was going to join cause she was already coming over to set up balloons for Emmy's birthday (the next day- May 22). And Erin is setting these up and talking and Allyson is wondering if they are going to be OK overnight and then BAM-- all these other friends appear.
Cheese fondue, boiled peanuts, gummy bears, popcorn-- gangs all here!
It was such a fun night, celebrating our sweet friend and fearless leader! The champion of fun and always thinking of others. Miss her so much! XOXO
