Oh my goodness. I can't believe I haven't published Christmas yet. It was so good. What a sweet, perfect season. And this picture says it all. These girls (especially Emily) love their elf so much! I can't think of anything more pure than this elf and them talking to Starry and sending messages and gifts back and forth to santa. It's so special. Love the elf or hate the elf, it's Christmas magic.
We made up a rule this year that you can hug the elf before she heads back to the north pole. And it made the girls soooo happy!! Save that one for next year. And yes, I think this is going to be Christmas in reverse. This was on Christmas day before bed. Think we all wore our PJs all day long.
Dinner... cheers!
holidays and fancy glasses.
We went with fish on this Christmas day dinner. It was delish.
Brunch.
"American Girl Doll" school. :)
The girls went on a hunt to find the final presents. See above!
Kate's favorite. My baby isn't a baby anymore!!
The look on her face!!!
Santa came!!!
Christmas morning.
After Santa finished. I love the calm of the tree at night. It's one of my favorite things about the season.
And welcome Christmas Eve. Like I said, we're in reverse here! We had the Halls and Hollands over for dinner and some fun gifts. Everyone had a blast. It reminded me of when I was a kid and we'd go to church then over to mamaw and papaws for dinner and gifts.
Christmas cheers! I made these fun little champagne glasses with a sprig of rosemary frozen in water and little pomegranates at the bottom. They were so fun and festive!
the kids table
I loved the table! Emily helped with it all.
Christmas Eve brunch. I also made these little orange juice molds for mimosas. Frozen OJ with orange slices in them and more pomegranates.
We ended up attending the early kids service at church and the girls loved it. My sweet angels. All the magic the season brings. It's so fun to watch it through their eyes. Everyone's favorite season. XOXO
