Cutest little house, take 2

16 November 2024

If you've been around for any length of time, you know one of my very favorite projects was the girls little playhouse, you can check it out here. My "COVID" project. Sadly, that sweet little house got blown away in the tornado. So here we are.. with a new, modern little house for the girls. Complete with a new street number to reflect our new address.

I didn't have to paint a single thing this time. Except the little mailbox. I went with pink :)

I love that it came with a chalkboard. I ended up adding baskets again, you can see one under the grill. We also had these little plastic chairs so I added them to the outside.

There's the cute mailbox! I got the same bell we had before and mounted it on the side. Love that this house came with a place to sit, attached!

I added all sorts of shelving inside the house. Those fun hot pink acrylic shelves are my fav! I added a few more baskets under the countertop for play items. The little macramé fruit holder by the door is another win! I thought it was so adorable.

The girls went through and put Taylor Swift stickers all over the walls before I was able to take the pictures! I also made these  cute little curtains for the window. It came with red curtains but I didn't love them. I found this fabric on Amazon and think it's adds a fun pop!

I also added hooks on the walls for cookware and utensils. Some fairy lights around the top so they would have some light inside :)

The girls are big helpers when it comes to cleaning and getting the cobwebs out! I love that they love this little house so much. We found a cute little rainbow bluetooth speaker that they keep inside so they can listen to music while playing.

One day I was on the upstairs patio and heard little voices. I looked down and saw this-- Emily was inside cooking something for Whit and Ellis and Emma was painting Kate's nails. It's exactly what I wanted for this space!
